What is a Composite and why do I make them?
A composite is an art piece that is made up of multiple photographs. It is primarily made with Adobe Photoshop. Using a variety of different Photoshop tools (like blending modes, brushes, image adjustments, etc.), you can let your creative juices go wild and create interesting images.
I like creating Composites because it gives me a chance to get creative! I’ve always had a wild imagination and compositing gives me a chance to show it! Using Photoshop, I’ve created ads, creative portraits, and PSA’s. See some of my work below!

Process Work

I created this composite when I was in High School using a photo of my dad, my best friend, and a photo of a wave splashing on the shore of the Gaspe Peninsula in Quebec. I created this image using Photoshop to make my friend appear small. Then I used masking and adjusted the blending modes on my dads face to make it look like he is part of the wave.
